UoW: University of Wuppertal presents circuits operating up to 650GHz at ISSCC in San Francisco, USA on February 11, 2010 (International Solid-State Circuits Conference). The chips were designed at University of Wuppertal and fabricated using IHP SiGe technology with highest HBT performance developed within the frame of the project. See also DotFive press-release.

IFX: Infineon has developed a high-speed dynamic frequency divider operating up to a maximum frequency of 168 GHz. The circuit is manufactured in Infineon’s SiGe process developed within the project DOTFIVE. It is based on a first regenerative divider stage followed by a static divider. The entire circuit, including both divider stages and an output buffer, consumes only 320 mW. The frequency divider was presented at the Bipolar/BiCMOS Circuits and Technology Meeting (BCTM) 2009.
